A Special Day at Anfield – Honouring a Legacy in Copper

It was an honour and a privilege for us at Donegal Copper Craft to be invited to Anfield, the iconic home of Liverpool Football Club, for a truly meaningful occasion.

I created a handcrafted copper tribute in memory of the late Diogo Jota and his brother André Silva, celebrating their love for the club and the game. To personally deliver this bespoke piece at Anfield was both humbling and unforgettable.

While there, we also had the pleasure of presenting a custom Liverpool FC crest to Mark Platt, the club’s official curator & historian, as a token of appreciation and respect for the history he helps preserve.

This experience was a reminder of the power of sport, artistry, and shared passion to bring people together – and it was an absolute privilege for Donegal Copper Craft to play a small part in honouring this legacy.
